Switchable maps (or multi-mapping) allow a vehicle’s ECU to store multiple tuning profiles simultaneously, letting drivers switch between them on the fly using steering wheel buttons, cruise control toggles, or dedicated switches. It enables instant changes between, for example, high-performance, valet, or economy modes. BE ADVISED WE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY WARRANTY FOR THE USE OF OUR SOFTWARE FEATURES. FOR RACE-USE ONLY!
Key Features and Benefits:
- On-the-Fly Switching: Change performance profiles while driving or stopped, without needing to plug in a laptop to reflash the ECU.
- Common Applications: Drivers can toggle between high-boost (e.g., E85/race fuel), low-boost (pump fuel), valet mode, or a “stock-like” map.
- Method of Control: Often utilizes existing steering wheel controls (like cruise control) ora dedicated button, with confirmation through RPM gauge movement or check engine light flashes.
- The tune or “map” you are in, is usually indicated on the instrument cluster via RPM. For example map 1 is 1000RPM, map 2 is 2000RPM etc.
- Multi-mapping can also be configured to drive mode and other vehicle settings ormodes.

How to calibrate our multi-map and anti-lag
As part of our software solution to TUNERS, we can provide a WinOLS .ols/.kp file to be used with the multi-map and anti-lag software package from Eagle Tuning Performance. We are also able to provide a map pack to be used with TunerPro in .xdf format. All maps are fully available to
tuners who purchase our package. The software we provide is ALWAYS locked to the Vehicle Identification Number. IF YOU LIE ABOUT OR MISSPELL THE VIN TO US, YOU WILL PAY TWICE – WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE.

Hyundai-N & Kia GT
Did you know, Eagle Tuning Performance is the world’s first software development company to create anti-lag and switchable mapping solutions for the Hyundai and Kia 2.0T and 3.3TTengines, with the Siemens SIM2K-250 and SIM2K-260 engine management systems.
How To Switch Maps (SIM2K-2xx):
- On-the-Fly Switching is enabled for the Hyundai-N and Kia GT platforms.
- Switchable maps include: Boost, ignition, torque, turbo speed, impulse combustion and anti-lag configuration.
Method of Control:
- With the ignition ON, Hold the brake pedal and use the cruise ‘+/-’ buttons to switch between maps.
- To show your current map, Hold the brake pedal, and the configured alternative (not .‘+/-’) button on your steering wheel. This will usually be one of the other cruise control buttons. The Anti-Lag / check map button will be different deepening on your vehicle model!

Audi & Volkswagen – Variant 1
The Eagle Tuning Performance Variant-1 software package on the VW/Audi group vehicles covers vehicles using the Simos18.X engine management system as well as many Bosch MED17 and EDC17 Engine Management Systems.
How To Switch Maps (Variant 1):
- On-the-Fly Switching is enabled for the Audi and VW Variant 1 vehicles
- Switchable maps include: Boost, ignition, torque, impulse combustion and anti-lag configuration.
Method of Control:
- With the ignition ON, Hold the brake pedal and use the cruise ‘+/-’ buttons to switch between maps.
- To show your current map, Hold the brake pedal, and the cruise SET button on your steering wheel. The Anti-Lag activation function also uses the same button (SET) (assuming preconditions for anti-lag are met).

Audi & Volkswagen -Variant 2
The Eagle Tuning Performance Variant-2 software package on the VW/Audi group vehicles covers vehicles using the Simos18.X engine management system as well as many Bosch EDC17 and MED17 Engine Management Systems.
How To Switch Maps (Variant 2):
- On-the-Fly Switching is enabled for the Audi and VW Variant 1 vehicles
- Switchable maps include: Boost, ignition, torque, impulse combustion and configuration.
Method of Control:
- With the ignition ON, Hold the brake pedal and tip the cruise lever UP & DOWN to switch between maps.
- To show your current map, Hold the brake pedal, and PULL the cruise control lever towards yourself. The Anti-Lag activation function also uses the same cruise control lever action (pull towards yourself, assuming preconditions for antilag are met).
