The long-awaited official bFlash unlock for Mercedes MD1 and MG1 ECUs (2020+) is now available through Eagle Tuning USA, thanks to our access to bFlash Master tools and specialized international support.
Although the unlock procedure itself is carried out via our trusted overseas partners, we handle the entire process from start to finish at our South Windsor, Connecticut facility — including ECU removal, secure handling, and professional reinstallation. Just bring your complete vehicle to us, and we’ll take care of the rest — efficiently, reliably, and with no guesswork.

OM654 – 1.95L Diesel (MD1CP001)
This modular 4-cylinder diesel engine is designed for efficiency and longevity. Featuring an aluminum block with steel pistons, the OM654 delivers excellent torque and fuel economy. Controlled by a Bosch MD1CP001 ECU, it supports advanced emissions systems and secure tuning protocols.
OM656 – 2.9L Inline-6 Diesel (MD1CP001)
A step up in performance and refinement, the OM656 is Mercedes’ inline-6 diesel powerhouse. It shares many design elements with the OM654 but offers greater displacement and power output. Like its smaller sibling, it runs on the MD1CP001 ECU platform and is widely used in higher-end models.
M139 – 2.0L Turbo Petrol AMG (MG1CP002)
The M139 is currently the world’s most powerful 2.0L 4-cylinder engine found in a production car. Developed by AMG, it features direct injection, twin-scroll turbocharging, and a unique hand-built design. Managed by the MG1CP002 ECU, it offers immense tuning potential, especially when properly unlocked.
M256 – 3.0L Turbo Inline-6 Petrol (MG1CP002)
Used in modern Mercedes-Benz and AMG models, the M256 is a smooth, powerful inline-6 engine paired with a 48V mild hybrid system in some variants. It eliminates traditional belt-driven accessories for better efficiency and responsiveness. The MG1CP002 ECU controls its complex systems, including integrated starter-generators and electric superchargers in select configurations.

How It Works:
Step 1 – Bring the Vehicle to Eagle Tuning Performance – 199 Stron Road South Windsor CT 06074
We do not accept shipped ECUs. The entire vehicle must be brought to our facility. Our technicians will safely remove and inspect the ECU.
Step 2 – We Ship the ECU to bFlash HQ in Belgium
At the end of each business day, we send all ECUs directly to the official bFlash Unlock Center in Belgium.
You won’t deal with international paperwork or shipping – we take care of it.
Step 3 – Unlock Process (24–48 Hours After Arrival)
The ECU is unlocked using the official bFlash OBD unlock protocol.
The read file is sent directly to us, and the unlocked ECU is returned.
Step 4 – We Reinstall & Program via OBD
Once the ECU is back, we reinstall it and complete the programming using the bFlash OBD protocol.
Your car is returned ready for tuning or further customization.

The ECU unlock is the mandatory first step before any tuning can be performed. Once your Mercedes MD1/MG1 ECU is officially unlocked, we proceed with fully custom Stage 1 or Stage 2 tuning — built specifically for your vehicle and goals.

The total cost consists of two components:
